VIETNAM : Hochinimh to Muine Beach

July 10-12, 2009 the short travel trip to go to Vietnam. I choose to go to Saigon, capital city of vietnam. On July 10, I and my friends go to Suvarnabhumi International Airport early in the morning casue my flight is 07.45am, i reach Tan Son Nhat International Airport 09.15am. I spend about 30 mins for immigration and take my bag. The driver from Phan Lan Hotel waiting me and my freind at the Gate. He pick up us to hotel, i see amazing traffic in Saigon, many motorcycle in the street.


PHAM NGU LAO AREA
Saigon's backpacker district i reservation at Phan Lan Hotel, 2 rooms with twin bed for 4 ladies.
Hun, reservation, she book room for us floor 1 and floor 4 , my friend she request her to change the room not hight floor. She change room for us at floor 2. The staff here very freindly, she help us about information to go Muine beach tomorrow.



From Pham ngu lao Street, we can walk abouot 5 mins to go Ben Thanh Market , Giac Lam ancient Pagoda , the Post office , Notre Dome Cathedral , The Municipal Theatre.
We spend more time to Ben Thanh Market, the oldest and largest market in Saigon. It is famous for its fresh flowers but you can find almost anything here.

CITY CENTER

The amazing for cross the road is many motocycle ride on the road. While you walk on the road, dont worry the speciat trip is you look the driver , dont stop walk , the driver will avoid you. You will crazy about the locals' driving style.

July 11, after brestfast, we check out the hotel and the bus tour bring us to go Phan Thiet town , Muine Beach with sleep bus. It fun for me to take bus this style cause it first time. I Perfer to sleep in upper bed for see view. We spend 6 hours reach to Muine beach.

The bus drop the traveler at Bus office. We walk to find the hotel but very expensive, we come back to Bus office for them find room not over 20$ for us. The officer offer room 15$/ night and we agree.

We ask about tour to The White sand dunes and Red sand dunes. She give us half day tour with jeep car 7$/1 ppl. We spend 4 hour for see canyon and white - red sand dunes. My though, the white - red sand dunes at vietnam is wonderful place in Asia. We dont go far to Middle east for sea sand dune.

After finished tour , the driver drop us at hotel. I shower and walk about 1 km. to the center of muine beach for dinner. I find the resturant, many people dinner at Popular resturant. Many people there, I and my friends find the table than we try to call the waiter but they dont interest us. Then i see some foringers comeing and sit , the waiter take order them. I and my friends stand up and leave that resturant. Other customer looking us, i dont care , maybe the dollar hold by asia people not big as dollar by white guy.

I see the resterant oposit name "smoky house" not many people, we are hangry and order food. the waiter he very fun and friendly. After take order he try to ask about trip to travel at Muine and he prefer the cheap price. But we refuse him cause we buy tour and went there already.

July 12, 2009 We early wake up and walk to the town for find some food. We choose to eat Pho for brestfast. Then we walk around town Muine Beach and see the beach. I think the sea here dirty, south of thailand my country is more better.

9.30am. the bus take us to come back Hochiminh city. We arrive Hochiminh 2.30pm and hurry up to go the Phanlan Hotel cause we book the car for pick up us to go Airport. Our flight from 5.55pm. retime to 7.05pm. than retime again 8.55pm. We in airport many hours, the pessenger get angry and i reach bankgok airport very late and safety.

Drive TukTuk around Chiang Mai

CHIANG MAI is the Capital city of northern Thailand. It is located some 700 km north of Bangkok, among some of the highest mountains in the country. The city stands on the Ping River.

June 17, 2009 After finish work i went Chiang Mai by air plane Airasia at 21.30pm, one hour reach to Chiang Mai town. I went to the hotel by Taxi. All my trip i choose to stay at "Imm Eco Hotel Chiang Mai"

June 18, 2009 the raining early in the morning. After breakfast i call to one taxi service (Thai call TUK TUK) Mr. Manit (+660851063511) the driver who is friendly and good spirit to take me on tour Chiang Mai town to pray 9 temples around town with the cheap price and take me on tour all my 3 days trip.

• Wiang Kum Kam the site of an old city situated on the southern outskirts of Chiang Mai. King Mengrai used this for ten years befoare the fonding of chiang Mai. the site has a large number of ruined temples.

• Wat Lok Moli the beautiful temple Lanna style
  

• Wat Suan Dok the temple was built by the King of Lanna.
  

• Wat Chiang Man the oldest temple in Chiang Mai dating from the 13th century. King mengrai lived here while overseeing the construction of the city.

• Wat Phra Singh Located withing the city walls, dates from 1345 and offers and example of classic northern Thai style architechture. It houses the Phra Singh Buddha , a highly venerated fingure, transferred here many years ago from Chaing Rai.
  

• Wat Pan Thao the old wood temple in the town
  

• Wat Chai Mongkhol the big temple closer Ping river
  

• Wat Chedi Luang founded in 1401 and dominated by the large Lanna style Chedi which dates from the some time, but took many years to finish. An Earthquake damaged he Chedi in the 16th century and now only two-thirds of it remains.

• Wat Ched Yot located on the outskirts of the city , this temple, built in 1455, hosted the Eighth World Buddhist Council in 1977.

June 19, 2009 Today i am on tour mountain by Tuk Tuk to Hmong Hilltribe "Bann pha mea kok" the Village of Hmong Hilltribe. they work about garden vegetable and flower. After that,visit the Orchid farm to see a large collection of orchids more than 50 different kinds of the colorful year-round orchids.

After go down the mountain. I went to the beautiful Wat Pha Darapilom. This temple build for respect to Queen of Lanna

Then I went to SanKampaeng area for sightseeing and shopping.Several things to see and choose as the souvenir Umbrella making, Thai silk and cotton looms, Teakwood carring, Pottery & the Celadon kilns, Lacquerware, Silverware, Jewelry factories and more.

June 20, 2009 Today i went to the most famous temple in the area Wat Phathat Doi Suthep, standing on the hill to the north-west of the city. This temple dates from 1383. The temple's location also affords superb views over the city on a clear day. Than i went the Chiangmai Airport to back to Bangkok.

KRABI : Thailand's Andaman seaboard

This summer on April in Thailand have many long weekend, I sent the paper for my vacation on April 4-15, 2009 and my boss she say OK. I have planned to go south of Thailand, Krabi and Trang , but some planned change cause my mom she sick and nobody take care her , my sister she go Samui Islands with her friend … it ok I can wait until her come back
April 6, 2009 At Bangkok South Bus Station, many people go there for travel and back them city, this week is 3 days long weekend, and I am one of all traveler. The bus starts from Bangkok 19.30; I sit alone seat near the window and see the town. The bus runs a way from Bangkok. In the bus open cd movie I watch movie until I feel sleepy and than I sleep.
April 7, 2009 I wake up in the morning because the sunlight from the window, At 7.30 the bus arrived Krabi Town Bus Station. I bring bag to my back and walk down from the bus, I feel about travel by the bus it long time and I feel hurt all my body. Now I stand on Krabi province, more 800km and 12 hours from Bangkok. Krabi is a southern province on Thailand’s Andaman seaboard with perhaps the country’s oldest history of continued settlement. Here is very nice town, Building old style and peoples friendly. I go to guest house I booked “Bann Andaman” a new beautiful guest house in the town with Thai style.

Koh Hong, Krabi (Hong Island) means room, and entering this hollowed out island by boat is much like floating through a giant reception hall with two doors.

PHI PHI ISLAND BEACHES These islands are some of the most beautiful tourist destinations in the world. This is one of the much sought after locations in Krabi province. The superb scenery of these islands are not just limited to the silvery sand beaches but the Emerald green sea, the multi colored coral reefs fand the abundance of the underwater marine life.

Hardly 1 hrs journal by boat from Ao Nang beach , the twin islans Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi leh provide excellent entertainments.

There are several caves where birds roost in their multitudes. The sea swallows make their gelatinous nest in these caves. And these nests are some delicacy in the Chinese cuinine. The viking cave is famous for the murals inside. These paintings depict Viking-like sailing vessels and sailors there by giving the name for the cave.

The underwater life is also much captivation. The colorful coral reef and underwater creatures give a feast to the divers. Snorkeling is a favorite sport in these beaches. In short, Phi Phi Islands are a real treat to the tourist and one of the best choises in the Andaman Bay.
